Dr. Adams’ areas of expertise are in microscopic endodontics using the most advanced technologies. His state-of-the-art specialty practice, which opened its doors in 2023, emphasizes minimally invasive techniques, advanced anesthesia, and exceptional patient care.

He was one of the first adopters of the minimally invasive root canal therapy treatment, GentleWave®, in Indiana, having performed over 8,000 procedures. This technology has revolutionized root canal therapy by enabling better cleaning and healing with less post-op discomfort. He also uses EdgePro™ Laser Disinfection for optimal treatment outcomes in 100% of cases.
Dr. Adams’ advanced anesthesia delivery includes the use of the WAND/STA and X-Tip intraosseous systems, which provide greater precision, less discomfort, and faster onset compared to traditional injection techniques.

His Leadership Role at Indianapolis Endodontics
Before founding Richmond Endodontics, Benjamin Adams began his professional career as Vice President at Indianapolis Endodontics, one of the state’s premier and most respected endodontic practices. During his 17-year tenure, he helped shape and establish the practice’s reputation for clinical excellence and innovation, team development, and patient satisfaction. He developed strong relationships with referring dentists, built patient trust, and mentored colleagues.
A Former Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD)
Benjamin Adams, Endodontist, provided clinical instruction and mentorship as an Associate Professor at IUSD in Indianapolis. He educated and trained dental students and residents in endodontic techniques and best practices and contributed to the academic community through teaching, mentorship, and published research.
He was also a national lecturer on endodontic technology, surgical techniques, and anesthesia. He has published peer-reviewed articles on modern endodontic technologies and methods.
One of Dr. Adams’ most significant and rewarding achievements was educating and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.
Dedicated to Community
Benjamin Adams is committed to giving back to his community with his time and financial support. He is an active participant and donor to local causes and events in Richmond and the surrounding areas, supporting education, women’s initiatives, and healthcare access.
He has been a top donor to the Wayne County Women’s Fund in 2024 and 2025. The Fund, a partnership of donors, grantees, and volunteers, works to enhance the quality of life for women of all ages, addressing key issues such as education and economic empowerment. Dr. Adams supports the annual Women’s Fund Luncheon and broader initiatives to empower women and girls in Wayne County.
He also volunteers regularly at Wheeler Mission, providing time and resources to help those in need. The Wheeler Mission offers a 30-day program for women and women with children facing homelessness.
His Education and Professional Memberships
Dr. Adams received his Bachelor of Science from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. He attended IUSD, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He also did his Endodontic Residency at IUSD. At IUSD, his passion and dedication were recognized with the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award in Endodontics and the Student Achievement Award for Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Adams is certified in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
A lifelong learner, he remains current on the latest in dentistry through continuing education, pursuing 30-plus CE hours annually.
Dr. Adams is a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the Indiana Dental Association (IDA).
Personal Life: A Man of Faith and Compassion
Dr. Adams was born on October 24, 1974, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and grew up in Zionsville. His life reflects the influence of a close-knit family, a strong faith in God, and a consistent drive to do his best at home and in his career.
As a child, he thrived in the strong school system and spent much of his time playing sports, scouting, hunting, and motorsports. These formative experiences and the enduring friendships he made during his youth would shape his character and fuel his lifelong love for discipline, teamwork, and service.
He was raised by his parents, William and Sacha Adams, whose examples of hard work, patience, and care left a lasting impact. His father, an endodontist, inspired Dr. Adams’ career in dentistry, while his mother, a former teacher who homeschooled their children, emphasized the importance of education and selfless support. One of eight siblings, Ben, shares a strong connection with his family, many of whom have gone on to have careers in medicine, education, and social media.

During his downtime, Benjamin Adams, Endodontist, enjoys skiing, mountain biking, motocross, golfing, hiking, and hunting.
